Responsible to initiate, coordinate, and implement programs and events with a primary focus on promoting Indigenous culture awareness and understanding to advance community and social development; and to coordinate fundraising activities for the organization.
Expected Qualifications include: Education/Experience in Program planning and implementation; Supervision skills; Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and leadership skills; Experience in preparing and writing technical documents and correspondence; Knowledge of community resources; Ability to work in a flexible environment and work flexible hours, including days, evenings and weekends; Ability to work independently and on own initiative; Knowledge of Indigenous culture, language, values and traditions; Demonstrated computer skills, knowledge of social media; Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is required; Excellent Health.

This is a 37.5 hr/wk position, which includes days, evenings and weekends. Wage is between $18-20/hr, pending qualifications.
